Background: Elizabeth Hendrich, CFP®
Beth began her career in finance at Westinghouse in 1990, after receiving a Masters in International Business from the University of South Carolina. After 5 years of work in finance and accounting, a strong interest in data modeling led her to switch to a software company where she created financial models for Fortune 500 companies that consolidated and refined large amounts of information to enable better decision-making. After taking time off to raise her two children, Beth decided to transfer her experience in financial systems to helping clients make better sense of their own personal financial information and choices.
Beth is a graduate of Georgia State University’s Personal Financial Planner program and passed the 10-hour CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification examination, which tests a broad range of skills including investments, estate planning, insurance, employee benefits and retirement planning, and tax planning as well as general financial planning and economic principles. She has earned the right to use the CFP® marks of distinction from the CFP Board of Standards.
After working for a national, full-service planning firm, she decided to found her own practice and partnered with the Garrett Planning Network to allow a transition to a fee-only practice focusing on objective financial planning services and financial education workshops for a wide spectrum of clients. E.A. Hendrich Financial Planning, LLC is a registered investment advisory firm with the state of Georgia. She has also passed the Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam.
Beth lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with her husband and two children. She is involved with her community through her children’s sports teams and schools. She likes to spend her leisure time hiking, gardening and planning vacations with her family. One goal is to visit every national park before both children graduate from college. During the past spring break trip, her family added El Yunque rain forest in Puerto Rico to their list.
